🚀 The Role

We’re looking for an Software Engineer (4+ years) to help us design, build, and scale Wonka Chat — our internal ChatGPT for enterprises, specialized in connecting with the systems companies rely on daily (ERPs, databases, document systems, internal tools, and more) that will be soon used by more than 5000 poeple.

As part of the core product team, you’ll work on:

• Designing and extending our AI agent engine
• Coordinating multi-agent workflows to automate complex business processes
• Building and maintaining scalable backend systems
• Improving our RAG pipelines to enhance context retrieval
• Integrating deeply with clients’ ERPs, CRMs, databases, and internal applications
• Developing new features end-to-end, from architecture to production
• Ensuring the platform is robust, secure, and easy to deploy inside enterprise environments

Your mission? Transform cutting-edge AI concepts into reliable, production-ready features inside Wonka Chat, enabling Belgian companies to automate workflows, accelerate operations, and unlock the full value of their internal knowledge.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex architectures, values ownership and autonomy, and wants to have a direct impact on a product used across real organizations.

💼 What We’re Looking ForMust-haves

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong experience with React
• Solid skills in Node.js and/or Python
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with databases such as MongoDB or relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and modern engineering practices
• Excellent grasp of data structures, algorithms, and practical problem solving
• Confident using Git, branching workflows, and conducting code reviews
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, or other cloud ecosystems
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling
• Curiosity or hands-on experience with Generative AI or LLMOps

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of AI Governance
• Experience with MCP servers
• Additional cloud, infrastructure, or AI tooling experience
